I'm not picky. Burgers, hotdogs, things like that. I like street food, too. I was thinking of pulling up to one of those old-style food carts if they're still around here.

Given what information we had at the time, the right call was made. The outcome was less than ideal, but they were already aware of the potential risks that came with either choice. They weren't being deferential when they'd handed that responsibility onto us.

Nothing we can do about that, really. The way I see it, we're just independent contractors to them. We can be let go at any moment without notice. Not that I'm not used to that kind of work environment myself, but it still sucks either way.
