[ He's put it off for quite a while now, but he's finally decided he's willing to put aside his pride to directly ask for it. So long as Gojo doesn't ask for anything ridiculous, he'll even acquiesce to his requests, he's decided. ]
Gojo. I'd like to politely request for my headpiece to be returned.
[ please have a photo of the plushie that's currently wearing said headpiece, posed to look like it's been caught in the middle of climbing out the window of a building with a small bag of possibly stolen(?) goods. ]
...well, you seem to be most familiar with... him. If you could ask him to return the headpiece, or provide me with his location, I would appreciate it.
[ Just play along, just play along, don't lose your temper Veritas Ratio, otherwise you won't get it back... ]
Hence why I asked you to provide me with his location. I would like to make the request in person.
[ Because obviously Gojo wants to humiliate him, just to get some amusement out of this whole ordeal. Truly, he should be glad the man does not come from his universe, and thus does not know who the Masked Fools are. ]
[ Heavy exhale on Ratio's side, though of course Gojo doesn't see that. ]
So a story is what you're looking for? I'm afraid I have none. It is merely a device I use to isolate my senses from the rest of the world, and so I can avoid looking at idiots. It also has the added benefit of preventing my students from being distracted by my appearance.
I have found, lately, that I am in need of it for the first two reasons.
[ He's not one to gripe about others behind their back, usually, but... ]
That screeching, wailing toddler of a mobile suit pilot. [ He means Shinn. ] A certain reptilian kaiju. [ Godzilla. ] And a few others who have a tendency to grate on me even though they are not idiotic all the time.
Why should I have to adjust my own behaviour to accommodate their idiocy? I already had a solutionβthat headpiece. It solves all problems beautifully, does it not?
haha so your conflict resolution is to block people out?
ig that would be an effective short term solution but its also kind of a cope out isnt it?
you dont need to change yourself just to accommodate others but rather than hide behind the safety of a headpiece why dont you just learn how to disengage from futile convos instead?
wearing that headpiece isnt gonna make the idiots disappear or stop disagreements from taking place you also dont need it to close the network or walk away
It is not conflict resolution. It is for my own peace of mind.
I do avoid futile conversations. Some idiots are simply that persistent. If you've the fortune not to consistently encounter fools as you go about your day-to-day life back home, then consider yourself lucky.
Regardless, attempting to dissuade me from using the headpiece is not going to change my desire to have it back. Are you willing to return it to me? Yes or no.
[ Plushie... fortunately for Gojo, Ratio is quite sentimental at heart so that plushie will find a good home in his room. Provided a certain kaiju doesn't blow up his room yet again. Smh. ]
Care for him yourself if you're so concerned.
[ But if Gojo checks later, he'll find the plushie gone, presumably taken by Ratio himself. ]
[ There's no response, but a few days later, Gojo will receive a picture of the plushie with a custom made headpiece of his own that better fits the plushie. Now he's got his own headpiece okay? Hmph! ]

You shouldn't have opened your mouth if it was none of your business.
[ When he opens his door, is it actually there? ]
